I was incredibly honoured to be asked by Matt, from MB Productions, and Ross Colquhoun, The SNP Engagement Strategist, to film some of Nicola Sturgeons days on the campaign trail. I was also uniquely terrified as the last possible thing I could want would be to be the guy who didn't get something this important right. I had very few occasions where I had time to check all my equipment to satisfactory levels before the First Minister would deliver a piece to my camera and often I was setting everything up with experienced guess work and jumping into a sea of adoring supporters with just my camera, microphone and monopod. There were times I definitely felt the traditional media having a bit of a laugh at me and my 'efficient' set up but the proof is in the pudding as they say and I'm proud of my work here.
