On April 5th 2014, Edinburgh Coalition Against Poverty hosted a protest against the workfare programme by blockading and shutting down Edinburgh's main Salvation Army shop. Katherine Perlo who has worked with ECAP for nearly 20 years talks about why they have focused on the Salvation Army for this protest and the situation that has been created by the workfare programme.
