This was actually a personal film for me as my sister has relied on Independent Midwives for all 3 of her children & I've personally witnessed the difference in stress and care she received between the NHS and these IM's. (Not that I'm against the NHS in any way, this is just a simple matter of an area that needs less intervention and more care)

 

New EU regulations had been brought in that was going to make it impossible for Independent Midwives to practice legally in the UK, which would further restrict womens birth choices, so I set out to cover their protest at the Scottish Parliament and put together a campaign awareness video.
