Made on behalf of the grassroots group “Disabled People for Yes”. Ordinary disabled people describe how they are feeling at the moment, the risks they see of staying part of the UK, and their hopes for a better future in an Independent Scotland.
The stars of the film are a mix of old and young, women and men, with different disabilities and struggles – and yet they tell the same story of lives which have become even harder under Westminster rule, and why each of them think that an independent Scotland will mean a better life for them. It is part of a planned wider series of short films “Voice for the Voiceless” which will give disabled people the chance to talk about different aspects of their lives.
